Located a few hundred meters from Omaha Beach the Museum D-Day Omaha was created by Michel BRISSARD in 1999 to present his personnel collection of thousands of original items and is now run by his family.
The collection includes an Enigma, British and American Paratrooper motorcycles, a Goliath remote controlled mine and a wide range of weapons and equipment.
The museum is located in what was a US military hospital built soon after the landing.
