    WYMONDHAM and asdiscussion in the afternoon led by Padre of 15 LAA. Soccer matches

    2Training followed by maintenance. The Bty attended a concert - "Stars
    in Battledress" - at WYMONDHAM in the evening which was voted an excellent
    show. Weather - fine but cold. Strength - 7 Offrs 126 ORs.
    3Training included 4 Training Films which were exceptionally interesting
    and instructive. Pay Parade. Weather - cold, snowed in evening.
    Strength - 7 Offrs and 126 ORs.
    4B.C. inspected Guns, Vehicles and Camp Area in morning. Personnel
    formally warned for service overseas. Weather - cold and snowy.
    Strength - 7 Offrs and 126 ORs.
    5Church Parades. Weather fine, thawing. Strength 7 Offrs 126 ORs.
    6Training which included, Small Arms Drill, Marching Drill, Zeroing,
    and Gas Training. Weather Mild. Strength 6 Offrs and 126 ORs.
    7Training which included Blob Stick and Fire Discipline. Maintenance of
    Guns and Vehicles. eather - Fine and Bright. Strength

    The unsuitability of the Tractor Fld Arty was demonstrated in an accident
    as stated in Textwhich occurred - the driver of a Quad attempted to slow down when another
    vehicle was in the act of passing an oncoming truck and was unable to do
    so owing to the weight of the gun. muster Parade for Typhus Innoculations.
    Weather - Cold, Dry and Dull. Strength 6 Offrs and 135 ORs.
    10Training assisted by AIG who has been posted to this Bty. 2 Quads
    issued to the Bty. The Bty's vehicles moved to the Hard Standing which
    has been completed. Weather - Cold and Dull. Strength 6 Offrs & 135 ORs.
    11B.C. inspected Guns Vehicles and Camp Area. Four guns returned from the
    REME Workshops, the modifications being completed. Weather- Cold.
    Strength - 6 Offrs and 136 ORs.
    12Church Parades. 8 reinforcements posted to the Bty. Weather - Bright.
    Strength - 6 Offrs and 142 ORs.
    13Training included firing rifles at the Ranges at SWAFFHAM. Offrs TEWT at
    RHQ. Strength - 7 Offrs and 142 ORs. Weather - Cold.
    14Remainder of 17-prs returned to the Bty from modification. Training
    and maintenance. Weather Cold, Rain at night. Strength 7 and 142.
    15Training which included a lecture at WYMONDHAM for Offrs and NCOs upon the
    subject of "Escape when captured, and behaviour when separated from Unit",
    which proved to be most instructional and interesting. Weather - Sunny.

    WYMONDHAM, and as stated17-pr equipment. They were most interested in zeroing and direction of
    fire by leads since this training appears to have been neglected in their
    in Text.Gunnery Training. The Bty Area was inspected by the MGRA. Weather Mild
    and Sunny. Strength 7 Offrs and 145 ORs.

    18Redrilling for Gun Drill Course. B,C' Inspection of Guns, Vehicles and
    Bty Area. Weather - Mild. Strength 6 Offrs and 145 ORs.
    19Church Parades. Weather Cold and Sunney. Strength - 6 Offrs & 144 ORs.
    20Training included Miniature Range practice with .22. attachment.
    B.C. recced the Holme Range at HUNSTANTON in readiness for the Bty's
    Practice Shoot. Weather - Cold. Strength - 6 Offrs and 144 ORs.
    21Bty fired to-day on Holme Ranges. A really useful shoot and many
    mistakes noted which will be corrected in future Training Programmes.
    Fire Discipline must be practiced more frequently. Weather - showery.
    Strength - 6 Offrs and 144 ORs.
    22Training and maintenance. Weather - showery. Strength - 6 Offrs and 145 ORs.
    23Training. Change of location has been decided and advance party has been
    sent to Weeting Hall, BRANDON. An A.tk Training Film was shown which
    demonstrated Tracer Observation and illustrated lead. Weather - Mild.

    27Bty moved off to occupy Weeting Hall, at 0930 hrs. Arrived at 1130 hrs.

    28Bty settling in to new camp. 21 reinforcements posted to the Bty.
    Bty engaged in maintenance and fatigues. Weather - Fine. Strength
    7 Offrs and 188 ORs.
    29Training. Maintenance. Footballl match in evening. Weather -
    Dull and Overcast. Strength - 6 Offrs and 188 ORs.
    30Training including .22 Miniature Range with Fire Discipline instruction.
    Gun Drill using Tractors FA. Weather - Fine and Sunny. Strength
    6 and 188.
    31Training - .22 Miniature Range, Gun Drill and Maintenance. Pay Parade.
