| For the first half of November the Regiment was | |||
| holding the line on two separate fronts. 'B' & 'C' Sqns | |||
| held the west bank of the R. MAAS in BOXMEER-VORTUM area | |||
| while 'A' & 'D' Sqns took turn and turn about on the | |||
| DEURNE front. Again apart from sporadic shelling and | |||
| sniping nothing of moment occurred. |

| leader and troop sergeant were taken prisoner and their | |||
| drivers were killed. From 20th - 22 nd of the month | |||
| 'A' Sqn came under command of 3 British Div and maintained | |||
| a 'stop' post in a very exposed position which | |||
| was mortared and sniped continuoslyy On the 22nd the | |||
| Regiment's area of responsibility on the R. MAAS was | |||
| increased and was held by two sqns in rotation with the | |||
| remaining two in reserve. Again there was little or | |||
| no activity until the night of the 25th when 'C' Sqn | |||
| Blitz Troop posn was attacked by an enemy patrol and | |||
| 3 troopers were taken prisoner and one wounded. No | |||
| casualties were inflicted on the enemy |
