In memory of the participation of the Canadian liaison officers in the liberation of France, the workshop of Plastic Arts of Bernieres sur mer stages these bicycles, symbol of freedom, topped by a tree branch recalling the life resumed after four years of suffering

This bunker was part Widerstandsnest 28 is on the seafront at Bernieres-sur-Mer and contains several plaques to Canadian and British troops who landed here to liberate Normandy and France.
