This memorial in the village of Anguerny pays tribute to the soldiers of the Régiment de la Chaudière who liberated the area in June 1944. The plaque lists the names of seven Canadian soldiers who lost their lives during the fighting around D-Day. It was inaugurated on 7 June 1990 in remembrance of their sacrifice and the liberation of the community.
