La Delivrande War Cemetery is located in the village of Douvres-la-Delivrande 14 km to the north of Caen.
The burials are mainly from the landings at Sword beach, particularly Oboe and Peter sectors and from the following battles between Caen and the coast.
The cemetery contains 1,123 burials, of which 927 are British, 11 Canadian, 3 Australian, 1 Polish, 180 German and 1 unknown.
