Lieutenant Chaplain John Anderson Memorial, Buron
This memorial plaque honors Lieutenant Colonel Jack Anderson, who served as Padre (chaplain) of the Highland Light Infantry. Born in 1913 and passing in 2004, Anderson is remembered for his dedicated service and spiritual guidance to his regiment during times of conflict.
The memorial is located in Parc Radley-Walters on Rue d’Arromanches, in the town of Buron near Saint-Contest, France. The park itself is named after Brigadier General Sydney Radley-Walters, who is also commemorated there.
