Operation Aquatint Plaque
A plaque to commemorate Operation Aquatint, a reconnaissance mission to collect information on the surrounding area and take a German guard prisoner.
The operation failed when the commandos landed a mile from there intended target and where discovered. Of the 11 men who went ashore three were killed, four were captured and four escaped.
