The first burials at Ryes War Cemetery were on the 8th June 1944 following the 50th Division landing nearby at Arromanches. The cemetery contains 652 Commonwealth burials from the Second World War, one Polish Burial and 335 German graves.
The cemetery is located between Ryes and Bazenville just off the D112 to the east on the D87.
