Canadiennes originaire du Nouveau Brunswick, participe au Debarquement
dans le secteur de JUNO BEACH, sur la plage voisine baptisée NAN RED
avant de liberer SAINTE-AUBIN SUR MER.
De nombreux jeunes Acadiens, engages dans l'armee canadienne,
decouvrent alors, pour la liberer, la terre de leurs ancetres.
Neuf d'entre eux perdent la vie ce 6 juin 1944, un autre le lendermain.
La BRECHE DES ACADIENS reste pour nous tous le symbole de l'attachement
et de la reconnaisance que nous leur portoons.
