The Overlord museum is located near Omaha Beach on the D514 roundabout leading to the American Normandy Cemetery at Colleville-sur-mer. The museum is visible from the roundabout along with three tanks which line the road leading to the museum including a Sherman and a T-10.

The Normandy American Cemetery covers 172.5 acres and is situated on the cliffs overlooking Omaha Beach east of St-Laurent-sur-Mer it is a cemetery and memorial to American Soldiers who died in Europe during the Second World War.
