    January 1 - 5At sea
    61250 hrs.Disembarked and entrained at 1355 hrs.
    4Arrived at Wymondham, Norfolk at 0545 and moved to Battery area. The Battery took
    over from 149 A/Tk.Battery who had left a small rear party to preare for our
    arrival. They gave the battery an excellent welcome and their oranisation was
    perfect.
    8 - 90900Battery fatigues.
    10Instructions for leave received from R.H.Q. Leave roster to be in three parts,
    first two parties numbering 43 and 44 O.R's and including the 21 and 28 day leave
    people to depart on the 11 and 12 January respectively. The balance of the
    Battery to go on leave on their return.
    11First leave party departs. Capt.R.J.Towers R.A. and Lt.L.Badger R.A. on leave.
    12Second leave party departs. Lt.N.M.Anderson R.A. on leave.
    13Battery fatigues. Maj.E.T.Oakes M.C.,R.A. on leave, 2nd i/c takes over
    command of battery.
    14 - 19Battery fatigues.
    20Lt.A.Mote R.A. and 7 O.R's join Regimental party of 25 drivers to proceed to
    Slough, Bucks. to collect 15 - 3 - tonners, 10 - 15 cwts. and 2 m/c's.
    21Regimental party arrives at Slough at 0830 hrs. and conveyed to Burnham Beeches
    to collect vehicles. Convoy leaves Slough for Kimberley at 1415 hrs. arriving
    2145 hrs.
    22 - 25Battery Fatigues.
    26Div.Commander Maj.Gen.Erskine visited and inspected Battery area.
    28CO inspected billets and area regarding mens accommodation and potential vehicle
    'dry standing'.
    29 - 31Battery fatigues.
