Place Date Hour Summary of Events and Information
Eastbourne 1st 9.9 HAA Regt RA under comd 101 AA. Bde moved from Possingworth Camp West
Blackboys, Nr.Uckfield, Sussex to EASTBOURNE. HQ established at
The Morrings, St.John's Road, Eastbourne.
7th W.O.P.O. No. 37 AA Received. Four officers to be posted in - details as
follows:- 2 from 153 (M) HAA Regt. 1 from 143(M) HAA Regt and 1 from
150(M) HAA Regt RA.
1st Unit Censorship brought into force.
15th C.O. visited Advanced HQ 76 AA Bde and received instructions that the
Regt was to be lent to this Bde as an assault or follow up unit for
Exercise "Overlord".
20th The Regt moved from Eastbourne to Southend-on-Sea and came under comd
76 AA Bde.
Strength of Officers as at 30 Apr 44 - 46 and 2 Norwegian Offrs.
