    1 NovThe Sqn was located at RHQ Area HEESCH, and moved to
    VLEIRDEN MR 622180 u/c 6 Gds Tk Bde and in sp of 15 (S) Div.
    3 NovAn Op was planned in conjunction with 6 Gds TK Bde
    and 15 (S) Div for an attack on MEIJEL MR 7107. The plan was
    for the Crocs to sp on the left flank and flame a heart-shaped
    recess in a large wood, but due to the extremely poor
    going and large numbers of mines it was found impossible
    to employ them. The Sqn remained in the fwd area all
    day, suffering nothing worse than harassing mortar and arty
    fire and sustained one minor cas. At the end of the
    day they moved back to their Harbour at VLIERDEN. Here
    they remained until 8th Nov when they moved to ZOMERON
    MR 593117, having now been placed under comd of 15 (S) Div.
    15 NovThe Sqn was visited by the Comd 31 Tk Bde.
    29 NovA recce party moved to MEERVELDHOVEN MR E3815 with a view
    to operating with 8 Bde 3 Brit Div. It was proposed to
    use them against a Castle which was holding out for some
    days and which had caused a certain amount of trouble.
    It was finally decided, however, not to use them for this
    operation and they remained at ZOMERON until the end of
    the month.
