    "17thVisit of Lt-General Sir Richard N.O'Connor, KCB, DSO, MC Comd 8th Corps.
    "26th100 personnel of this Regiment were addressed by General I. Eisenhower.
    The whole month of May was spent in waterproofing and final preparation
    for the Second Front.
    27thPractice move out of Regiment as for war.
    Officer Casualties :-
    Lieut. I.MacDonald reclassified Med Cat 'B' for six months by
    a Medical Board at Aldershot on 8 May 44.
    Lieut. C.D. Peacock admitted to Cambridge Mil Hospital Aldershot on
    23 May 44 with injured hand.
    Lieut. & QM. J. Sinclair granted commission and joined this
    Regiment for duty as QM on 28th May 1944.
