3 Warning Order issued that 6 Beach Group will move from present location in
the near future. Advance parties leave by rail at 1300hrs.

4 Maj Boehm assumes command of the Group during the absence of Lt Col R.D.R.
Sale OBE. ,TD on leave.
1100 Three security films were shown to all units of the Group.
3-7 Normal Training
7 Good Friday was observed by Church Services held under Coy and Unit
arrangements.
9 Church Parade Service was held on Easter Sunday.
10 Welcome entertainment was provided by an ENSA concert for the Coys and Units
at at Strathpeffer.
12 Vehicles at Assault Scale leave for new location.
10-14 Normal Training.
15 0830 First half of Main Body leaves by rail for new locationsOur Ref Appx 'B'
16 1100 Residual tpt leaves for Malplaquet Barracks, Aldershot the new location for
Main Residues.
1250 2nd half of Main Body leaves by rail for new location and arrives the
following day. 1 Bucks to Petworth 3 Camp.

1700 Assault Scale tpt arrives at Petworth 3 Camp.
PETWORTH CAMP 17 Lt Col R.D.R. Sale OBE. assumes command of the Group.
18-19 Normal Training.
20 Briefing Conference for comds of Coys and Units taking in Ex "CROPPER VII"Our Ref Appx 'C'
21 1330 Unit taking part Ex "CROPPER VII" leave for Exc Area.
22 1200 Ex "CROPPER VII" begins.Our Ref Appx 'D'
23 National day of Prayer: Church Services were held by all Coys and Units
less those taking part in Exercise "CROPPER VII"
1900 Ex "CROPPER VII" ends.

The month has been devoted to Individual Training by all Coys and Units.
Sport has played a prominent part in the form of Boxing, Swimming,
Football, and Rugger.
