In July 1944, 241 Provost Company continued its demanding police and traffic control responsibilities along the Normandy coast, operating around Petit Enfer, Luc-sur-Mer, and the expanding front at Caen. As large-scale RAF and artillery assaults struck German positions, the company managed convoy movements, enforced security measures, and supported the growing bridgehead. Despite ongoing shellfire and the steady pressures of occupation and movement control, it maintained order behind the advancing front.
