28 1300 Visit by DAAG 79 Armd Div to discuss surpluses now held within Bde, Decided
to post all surpluses to 264 Special Del Sqn as soon as possible.
BOSE YVES 30 0930 Considered essential by Comd that regts must be given every facility for
picking best men available to fill WE and that personnel should be exchanged
frequently with 1st rfts in order to effect this.
" 30 1530 Visit by DA&QMG and CRASC 79 Armd Div to discuss future ops and sups of
6 and 42 Aslt Regts RE. Considered that it was advisable to place two
regt pls of 109 Coy RASC under comd 502 Coy RASC to sup these regts and
that these pls should proceed to area 502 Coy RASC fortwith.
" 30 Letter re-org117/4/4551/A
" 31 B Regt Pl 502 Coy RASC crossed R SEINE with 1 Lothians and A Sqn 141 RAC.
It consisted of 29 Task vehs which were loaded as follows 15 Pet 8 Amn 3 FTF
and N2 and 3 sups. Their load was considered adequate to sup units
concerned unless abnormal demands were made.
" 31 1900 ADMS visited HQ to stay 2 days in order to visit units in the field
