    R2384trg on a 14 day basis for Tk crews and ech personnel with individual trg on

    Intention that one day after the completion of any move trg should carry on
    whenever ops were not in progress,
    Move of C Sqn to Bde Wksps for overhaul cancelled. A Sqn only was completed,
    and of that Sqn 8 engines only required changing.
    30830RHQ, A & C Sqns moved to DOMELIERS M9829 and Regt came under comd 8 Corps who
    were now holding all units and fmns not required for the current ops.
    DOMELIERS M98304Replacement CRAB arrived from 264 Special Del Sqn to replace 3rd line cas of
    B Sqn.
    8Block Training began. C Sqn move one mile to LE CROCQ.
    10Recreational transport to AMIENS began.
    11Warning of possible move to area BRUSSELS about 15 Sep with 8 Corps.
    120800Lt. COL. W. Y. K. Blair Oliphant MC and Lt. I. D.S. Mackichan left for 8 Corps TAC
    HQ BRUSSELS to arrange move if possible.
    15 Surplus personnel posted away to 264 Special Del Sqn. Regt now down to
    WE
    13Regt reverted to sp 79 Armd Div. in 21 Army Gp Res.
    16C Sec 30 Armd Bde Wksps arrived
    17First tp C Sqn began overhaul in Bde Wksps.
    18Regt placed in sp 6 Gds Tk Bde with no prospect of ops and this allocation
    was later cancelled.
    19Commanding Officer visited Gen Hobart comd 79 Armd Div and arranged move of
    RHQ and A Sqn to LUCHEUX N2091.
    21RHQ and A Sqn moved to LUCHEUX in groups of 5 veh at 30 min intervals to
    avoid possibility of traffic congestion. It was still the practice of OFP
    Sec to move under comd Regt but for Wksps Secs to move only on orders CREME

    79 Armd Div. Commanding Officer visited 30 Armd Bde to arrange move of
    Wksps on completion of C Sqn overhaul.
    22C Sqn overhaul complete. 6 engines required replacement.
    24C Sqn moved to GRANDE RULLECOURT N2597.
    25Lt. Sellman took 20 X 3 ton lorries of the Regt to BELGIUM with pet under
    Army arrangements. Regt grounded less A Sqn at 6 hrs notice. No news of
    any impending ops, Second Regt Wireless Course began.
    2614 day block programme for Tp Trg finished and tp trg ceased owing to
    petrol shortage except for night direction keeping practice with new DTD
    station keeping lights. Owing to shortage of material only 14 tanks of the
    Regt were completed with this device. Off the new WYMAN lane marking device only
    the flags had been issued.
    27D & M (tracked) and Gunnery trg continued under Sqn arrangements, All
    personnel practised some dismounted inf battle drill,
